Week 3
It's week 3 of Anyone Can Code, and we've moved on from WHAT is programming, to HOW we can do it, to actually CODING! Of course in this article Brittany is using Repl.it, but which Repl.it tools? Spoiler: She's making a website, which will use HTML and CSS! If you want to learn with Brittany, or are interested in reliving the experience of learning to code for the first time, be sure to give her fantastic article a read!

Intro to Python Intermediate
Education is the gateway to success. For the price of nothing, you can access Repl.it's new Intermediate Python Curriculum. This means that if you're a teacher, you can use this curriculum as is or modify it and use it as a starting point for your programming classes. If you're a student you're in luck too. You can use the material as a guide for self learning, a resource I wish I had when I started. For more information, be sure to check out our documentation on it.
>62 = IF BATTLE-SNAKE THEN
battle snakes
What's better than snakes? Snake battles! What's better than snake battles? Battling with a snake that you control! Introducing: Battle Snake Winter. A competition where you can pit the AI you programmed against other people's AIs. It's the classic game of snake, except other snakes are also in the world, competing to stay alive. If this sounds interesting to you, sign up today! (No snakes were harmed in the creation of this tournament)
>VARIABLE HACKATHONS 5 CELLS ALLOT

Our friends at Major League Hacking are ensuring that hackers around the world have the opportunity to learn, build, and share every weekend with digital hackathons. These weekend-long invention competitions are welcoming of all skill levels, from beginners to the most veteran developers. At each hackathon, they run beginner-friendly workshops on the latest topics in tech. It's not just commits and code, the MLH team coordinates mini-events and hacker hangouts to help you expand your network, learn something new, and make new memories. Plus, each weekend has a theme to help inspire you. Event themes don't limit what you can build though! All hacks are welcome! Sign up for an upcoming hackathon:
