You can DO anything on DigitalOcean

It's with great humility that we've come to see our cloud as an open canvas upon which you can create incredible things.

Earlier this year, we introduced our Hub for Good, so that you can DO good on DigitalOcean. One of our first applications was for Coronastatus, an app for self-reporting COVID-19 symptoms, that runs on DigitalOcean Kubernetes and our managed Postgres database.

To better support developers of all skills levels as they scale their apps, we now offer a continuum of cloud computing products.

Today we're introducing new products and enhancements across this continuum:

Storage-Optimized Droplets and lower prices for Memory-Optimized Droplets
Our new Storage-Optimized Droplets feature large amounts of NVMe SSD storage. This makes Storage-Optimized Droplets great for extra large NoSQL databases, caches, and analytics workloads. We're also reducing prices for Memory-Optimized Droplets by about 11%. Read more here.
DigitalOcean Container Registry is now Generally Available
DigitalOcean Container Registry allows you to securely store and manage private container images and other OCI-compatible artifacts. You can then easily pull images into your DigitalOcean Kubernetes clusters. Read more here.
'Deploy to DigitalOcean' button and new App Platform features
We're introducing a new 'Deploy to DigitalOcean' button you can embed into GitHub README.md files. Clicking the button allows you to deploy compatible apps to DigitalOcean App Platform in one click. More about the button and new App Platform features in this blog post.
