(lambda (s) s ++ " Jam Winner") . "Lang" |
It seems like so long ago we started the Repl.it Language Jam, a jam where people competed in groups to create the best programming language possible. But it's complete, the results are in. The Overall winner of the 2020 Repl.it Programming Language Jam is.... Basil! Congratulations to @elucent and @minchingtonak for their hard work, and fantastic programming language. Special thanks to our judges, and everyone else that had a go at creating a language. If you want more information such as why Basil came #1, and who the runner-ups were, you can read more about it here. |

At some point in the life of being a developer, you'll hear about the famous Fibonacci sequence. It's famous for how patterns in life can be found with the same pattern the sequence creates, and it's a great way to teach new programmers about recursion. Outside of that however, how much do you really know about it? Unless you've read @Bookie0's Repl Talk post, not that much. For more information about who created the Fibonacci sequence, it's significance, and the math behind the sequence, you can check out Bookie0's Repl Talk Tutorial here. |
