Language jam
All good things have to come to an end. We're only a few days from the end of the programming language jam. If you're hacking, it's now the time to start polishing up your project to get it ready for submission. It's also a great time to start watching the jam board because submissions are already starting to roll in!

Spinning colors
We're aware that Repl.it isn't the only editor out there, some have been around for quite a while. VS Code is one code editor that people have made countless themes for. Themes let you change how your code looks to your taste. Now by using @Scoder's repl you can use themes that were originally made for VS Code on Repl.it! Explore a large selection of themes to find your favorite, or even make one yourself!

As if programming wasn't rewarding enough, there's more. Introducing Repl.it Achievements in Beta -- a way to spruce up your Repl.it bio, and reward you for what you already do! Repl.it Achievements is a program that tracks progress in certain tasks, which in turn gives you a badge to go on your profile, and grants you cycles! This system is currently in beta, and hence is only available to explorers (beta testers) at the moment. For more information about the upcoming system, be sure to check out the documentation for it.

Repl Teams
Also in Beta: Teams! Code with friends. Code with coworkers. Code with your classmates. There's no better way to code collaboratively online: you can do schoolwork, you can build apps, you can even start a business. To learn more about Teams for Education, check out our blog post or just get started with a team!

Xfiles bye bye
That's it for this week's newsletter! And don't forget, Repl.it's programming course "How to teach yourself coding with Quizlet Founder Andrew Sutherland" isn't over! If you're a hacker on Repl.it, sign up for free today to participate in Zoom sessions with Andrew Sutherland, and also get access to all previous lessons for the full educational experience! (If you're not a hacker, sign up!) With that said, thank you for reading the Repl.it Newsletter, and I can't wait to see you next week! Bye bye!
